RULES & REGULATIONS
10. FIREARMS: Firearms of any type, regardless whether you are a permitted carrier or not, WILL NOT be allowed
within Mountain Lakes Resort. If firearms are found in your possession, you will be asked to leave the Resort.
(This includes any type of handgun, BB guns, pellet rifles, hunting rifles, bow and arrows and etc.)
11. FIREWORKS: Discharging of Fireworks, INCLUDING SPARKLERS, are prohibited, from any property or
common areas within Mountain Lakes Resort. Our resort is very wooded and properties are close together and this
is a fire-safety rule that must be adhered to for everyone’s safety.
12. GUESTS: Club Members are always responsible for the actions/conduct of their Guests. Guests of Club
members may use the Recreational Property under the following stipulations: Guest fees must be paid before
admittance is allowed onto any Club amenity/facility. Guest Fees are as follows: Children under the age of 6 yrs. -
No charge. Children ages 6 yrs. to 15 yrs. - $5.00 per day. Adults ages16 yrs. & up - $8.00 per day.
Groups of 5 or more guests must have prior approval from Club Management. They must be on the group calendar
and make arrangements for amenity passes prior to arrival. To arrange for groups, call 706-865-5254. Club
Management reserves the right to limit the number of times a given guest may use the facilities on an annual basis.
13. CLUBHOUSE REGULATIONS: Rules & Regulations at each amenity must be adhered to at all times..
14. WATER SLIDE REGULATIONS: a. Regulation swim wear is required. b. Water slide may not be used by
anyone who does not meet the height requirement. c. Attendant is on duty at all times. Members and guests must
comply with the safety directions of the Attendants.
15. POOL REGULATIONS: a. All Rules & Regulations will be posted at pool site. b. Children under the age of
6 years old are NOT allowed in the hot tub, steam room or dry sauna. c. Children under the age of 14 years old
MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. d. Regulation swim wear is required. Infants must wear
plastic pants or special diapers for swimming.
16. HORSEBACK RIDING REGULATIONS: Rules & Regulations will be posted at the stables. (Jeans, slacks &
appropriate footwear must be worn)
17. BOAT REGULATIONS: (NO GASOLINE POWERED BOATS ALLOWED ON THE LAKE) a. Children under the
ages of sixteen (16) years MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. b. Life preservers MUST be worn when MOUNTAIN LAKES CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS
using any boats. c. Boats must not be taken ashore other than at the designated docks and must be tied up so as
not to float away. d. A current member card or guest pass is required for each person when checking out a boat.
The card or pass will be returned to the customer when equipment is turned in.
18. CLUB DUES AND MEMBERSHIP STATUS: CLUB DUES ARE DUE AND PAYABLE January 1st. Late fees will
be charged on past due fees, and membership privileges will be suspended until all past due accounts are paid.
You must have the current year sticker on your club card before you are allowed access into the resort or amenity
areas.
19. SAFETY/ MISCELLANEOUS: a. No Clotheslines are permitted in the resort, and please refrain from hanging
towels, etc. from railings. b. Please place trash in provided waste containers. c. A valid car pass must be displayed
on all vehicles parked in parking lots. d. No open fires are permitted. (Some designated areas are provided.) No
grills are allowed on decks. (Fire hazard) e. If you are expecting visitors, you must meet your guest at the gate for
access into the park, or pre-arrange for guest passes for your guest to enter into the park. A valid guest car pass
must be displayed on their vehicle at all times. f. QUIET TIME IS 11:00 P.M. – 8:00 A.M. Please be considerate of
your neighbors. g. Everyone is responsible for the actions of their children, guests and pets. h. Landscaping may
not be altered at any time. i. Grounds & picnic areas must be left clean after usage. j. Hunting is not allowed on
Resort Properties. k. PUTT-PUTT—Please be aware that, WHEN WET, surfaces, such as, wood, etc. can become
slippery. Watch your step. We do have the right to close in rainy weather due to safety concerns.
20. VIOLATIONS OF RULES & REGULATIONS: In the event of a violation of any Club rule or policy, Mountain
Lakes Club, Inc. reserves the right to suspend a member’s privileges and rights, including all rights to use the
Recreational Property.
CLUB MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY USAGE OF ANY CLUB FACILITIES TO ANY
MEMBER OR GUEST AT ITS DISCRETION. ANY MEMBER OR GUEST WHO WILLFULLY OR NEGLIGENTLY
DEFACES OR DESTROYS PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT OF MOUNTAIN LAKES CLUB, INC.WILL BE HELD
LIABLE FOR THE FULL VALUE OF SUCH PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT.
21. AMENDING RULES AND REGULATIONS: Mountain Lakes Club, Inc. reserves the right to revise or amend
these Rules & Regulations for the betterment of the Recreational Property and the greater satisfaction or safety of
the Members as it deems necessary.
